Terms & Conditions

Mental Coaching & Psychosocial Counselling – Gleichklang

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between Gleichklang (Chantal Genoud) and clients, unless otherwise agreed in writing. By booking a service, the client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services and Personal Responsibility

Gleichklang offers mental coaching and psychosocial counselling. This involves support in developing solutions and is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment.

The client bears full responsibility for their actions and for implementing the content discussed during and after the sessions. The success of the counselling cannot be guaranteed.

3. Appointments and Binding Nature

Agreed appointments (in person, by telephone or online) are binding.

Cancellation policy: Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled no later than 24 hours before the agreed time, provided a valid reason is given.

Late cancellations: For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment or in the event of a no-show, the full fee for the missed session will be charged, as the time was reserved exclusively for the client.

4. Professional secrecy and confidentiality

I am bound by professional secrecy. All matters discussed will be treated in strict confidence.

Exception: The duty of confidentiality does not apply in cases of acute danger to oneself or others (e.g. suicidal tendencies, threats of violence against third parties). In such cases, I am legally and ethically obliged to inform the relevant authorities (e.g. A&E doctors, public authorities).

Confidentiality remains in force even after the counselling relationship has ended.

5. Fees and Terms of Payment

The fee rates agreed at the time of booking apply.

Payment is to be made [e.g. by invoice within 10 days / in cash after the session / via TWINT or bank transfer]. In the event of late payment, I reserve the right to suspend further sessions until outstanding amounts have been settled.

6. Disclaimer

Liability for damages resulting from the application of what has been learnt is excluded – to the extent permitted by law.

Gleichklang shall only be liable in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

7. Data Protection

Personal data will be used exclusively for the purposes of conducting the consultation and for invoicing. It will not be disclosed to third parties without express consent (except in the case of point 4).

8. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

Swiss law applies exclusively.

The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Zurich.
